I don't know what my husband puts in his underwear...

Well, his pajamas bottoms really, but it seems to be a cat magnet! I think he's keeping cat nip in there or something?

First there was Basil...

Then about 20 minutes later, there was Oscar...

Then this evening as I was having my shower I had a guest...

She shoved her head through the door and tried to lick the water off my legs directly under the water flow! she got a little damp...

James said he find it interesting that all our animals are "special".

Happy Helpers!

We cleaned out the pantry this weekend. There were a lot of foods that needed throwing out. Of course Elly and Bandit were happy to oblige.

(btw the white stuff on the ground is meringue.)

Apparently Bandit REALLY likes golden syrup.

Today I put an empty condensed milk can into the recycling and continued with my cooking. Mum came out and I said something about the can and Mum went to look in the recycling and it had disappeared. Someone had stolen it! I found it and put it back in the garbage and then this happened...

I put it back in the recycling AGAIN and then this happened.

Now they are both asleep on the loungeroom floor.

Dr Dolittle, moths and noisy pants.

When James got home on Friday, we let the dogs in and I was sitting on the couch and then all of a sudden, both dogs and 4 of the cats were all milling around him. He said "what am I? Dr freakin Dolittle?"

Later that night there was a little moth in the lounge room and little Bertie was making his cute little "mewwwwwwwww" noises that he does when he wants something. So James helped him in his quest...

Then he managed to grab it in his paws, and he ate it, and then he opened his mouth to meow and it flew out again lol But then he caught it and ate it successfully.

So, what's it like to live with a Bengal you ask? The answer is simple. Noisy.
On Saturday we were outside doing a little bit of gardening. Lexi HATES when we go outside. She doesn't want to be outside, she just doesn't want US to go outside. I think she is agoraphobic. Can cats be agoraphobic? She doesn't want to be outside, because you take her outside and she continues to bellow. She doesn't bellow when we come back inside.

She is also VERY naughty and back chats and ignores what we tell her.

Jelly babies and boxes!

So Elly always scoffs her food so we slow her down as much as we can. Putting water on the biscuits seems to help, and we feed them separately. So considering how quickly she eats her food, I was very surprised when we gave her a jelly baby a few months ago and it took her AGES to eat it. (Well ages for her...)

Elly and the Jelly

Since we did a clean up, we've had an empty cardboard box sitting in the loungeroom that the cats have claimed (unsurprisingly.) What is surprising is that it's been there for several weeks and no one has pee'd in it, and it still maintains most of it's structural integrity (which considering it often has over 12kg of cat sitting on it is no mean feat!) But tonight Chloe was entertaining me...

When Clunkerbell came to live with us...

So Chloe, or Clunkerbelle as James and I refer to her, was my wedding gift from James.

She was and still is tiny! We thought she was 12 weeks, but the vet seemed to think she was 5 months given she'd lost her kitten teeth already. That was in early March. So now we are almost 5 months later, so should should be mostly grown and she still looks like a kitten compared to others!

Here she is with Basil when we first got her

With Lexi and Bert, again when we first got her

Here she is playing Arma 2 with James

Sleepy kitty, awwww

I will have to take another photo of her compared to the others now! She is so hard to take a photo of.

I shouldn't encourage the dogs to eat cat litter, right?

Today I ponder the question, is it wrong to encourage the dog to eat the cat litter that is scattered all over the floor? In my post from yesterday I mention that Bandit had helped himself to some of the cats (dirty) litter. Tonight I found myself tempted to point out the litter scattered all over the floor. I reminded myself that he isn't a giant dustbuster... well for non food products anyway! Though he is good with cleaning, he licked one of the cupboards in the kitchen for me this evening hehehe.

Here is "I can make myself as small as the cats" Bandit.

Here is young Bandit using my foot warmer as a pillow!!!
\

Does anyone else's cat do this when they go to the toilet??

It's strange, right???

How here is a puzzle, Find the Basil!!!

Dogs are gross...

So just before Bandit and Elly were in the bedroom, on my side of the bed. Bandit was wandering around while I was straightening my hair. I turn around and he drops a bundle of dirty cat litter from his mouth onto the bedroom floor *vomit smiley* He ate half and then left the other half for Elly, who also ate it.

Dogs are gross!!!

Other fun stuff this week...

Lexi wanted a ball with a bell and she wasn't letting the bag stop her!

Elly loving her toy!

I'm going to make an effort to upload all the videos and photos I haven't posted and try to post them!
